We are working with a growing structural engineering consultancy based in New York City that specializes in the design of complex mid-rise and high-rise building structures. The firm has built a strong reputation for delivering innovative, efficient, and technically challenging projects throughout the NYC metropolitan area.

This is an excellent opportunity for an ambitious Structural Engineer with 1–3 years of experience who wants to develop their technical skills while working alongside experienced engineers on notable residential, mixed-use, commercial, and hospitality developments.

• Assist with the structural analysis and design of reinforced concrete, structural steel, masonry, and foundation systems
• Support the design of mid-rise and high-rise buildings from concept through construction
• Prepare structural calculations, technical reports, and engineering documentation
• Develop structural models using industry-standard analysis software
• Coordinate with architects, MEP engineers, contractors, and project stakeholders
• Produce and review structural drawings using Revit and AutoCAD
• Participate in site visits, field observations, and construction administration activities
• Support senior engineers with project delivery, design development, and technical problem-solving

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or Structural Engineering
• 1–3 years of structural engineering experience focused on building design
• Experience working on residential, commercial, mixed-use, or high-rise projects preferred
• EIT certification or actively pursuing licensure
• Understanding of structural design principles and applicable building codes including IBC and ASCE 7
• Experience with structural analysis software such as ETABS, SAFE, RAM Structural System, SAP2000, or similar
• Proficiency with Revit and AutoCAD
• Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team
