Structural Project Manager

We are partnered with a highly respected structural engineering consultancy in Brooklyn that specializes in the design of new buildings, adaptive reuse projects, and complex structural renovations throughout New York City.

This is an opportunity for a Structural Engineer with 3–6 years of experience who is looking to take ownership of projects, work directly with clients and architects, and contribute to the delivery of some of the city's most architecturally ambitious developments.

What You'll Be Doing
  • Perform structural analysis and design for a diverse range of building projects including residential, mixed-use, commercial, institutional, and renovation work
  • Design structural systems utilizing steel, reinforced concrete, masonry, timber, and cold-formed steel
  • Develop structural calculations, reports, specifications, and construction documents
  • Create and coordinate structural models using Revit and industry-standard analysis software
  • Collaborate directly with architects, developers, contractors, and multidisciplinary project teams
  • Conduct field investigations, site visits, and structural assessments of existing buildings
  • Support construction administration activities including RFIs, submittal reviews, and contractor coordination
  • Manage project tasks, schedules, and deliverables while working closely with senior engineers and principals
  • Mentor junior engineers and contribute to the technical development of the team
What We're Looking For
  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or Structural Engineering
  • 3–6 years of structural design experience focused on building structures
  • Experience working on projects within New York City is strongly preferred
  • EIT certification required; PE licensure or active pursuit of licensure preferred
  • Strong understanding of NYC Building Code, IBC, ASCE 7, AISC, ACI, and masonry design standards
  • Experience with structural analysis software such as ETABS, SAP2000, RAM Structural System, RISA-3D, or similar
  • Proficiency with Revit and AutoCAD
  • Experience with existing building investigations, renovations, or adaptive reuse projects is highly desirable
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to work directly with clients and project stakeholders
