We’re working with a well-established, multidisciplinary engineering and consulting firm in New York City that plays a key role in shaping public infrastructure across the region.
They’re looking to hire a Senior Civil Roadway Engineer who can take ownership of design, mentor junior staff, and work directly with major NYC agencies on high-impact capital improvement projects.

What You’ll Be Doing
- Lead the design and delivery of roadway and infrastructure projects across NYC
- Prepare and oversee plans, specifications, and technical deliverables
- Design roadway alignments, grading, drainage, utilities, MOT, and streetscape elements
- Coordinate with agencies such as NYCDDC, NYCDOT, and others
- Manage project tasks, schedules, and budgets
- Act as a key point of contact for clients and internal teams
- Mentor and support junior engineers
- Ensure quality, accuracy, and timely delivery across multiple projects
What You Bring
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering
- 5–10 years of roadway/infrastructure design experience
- Strong experience with NYC agencies (NYCDDC, NYCDOT preferred)
- PE license in New York or close to obtaining
- Proficiency in AutoCAD Civil 3D (MicroStation/OpenRoads a plus)
- Strong understanding of roadway design, utilities, and drainage systems
- Confident communicator who can manage both technical work and client interaction
