Position Summary
We are seeking an experienced Senior Project Manager to lead the planning, design, and delivery of municipal infrastructure projects. This role provides technical leadership, manages client relationships, oversees project teams, and ensures projects are delivered on time, within budget, and in compliance with applicable standards and regulations.
Brief Responsibilities

Lead and manage municipal engineering and infrastructure projects, including roads, stormwater, utilities, and land development.

Oversee project planning, scheduling, budgeting, design coordination, and construction administration.

Coordinate multidisciplinary teams, consultants, contractors, and public sector stakeholders.

Review engineering drawings, specifications, reports, and technical documentation.

Monitor project progress, manage risks, and resolve technical and construction issues.

Represent projects at public meetings, planning and zoning boards, and client presentations.

Prepare project proposals, cost estimates, and monthly status reports.

Mentor and support junior engineering staff.

Develop and maintain strong client relationships and support business development initiatives.
Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a related discipline.

Professional Engineer Licensed in New Jersey

Minimum 10 years of progressive experience managing municipal infrastructure or land development projects.

Experience with capital improvement projects, contract administration, and public sector clients.

Proficiency in AutoCAD Civil 3D and Microsoft Office; GIS experience is an asset.

Strong leadership, project management, communication, and stakeholder engagement skills.

Experience presenting before municipal boards or public agencies is considered an asset.
