Position Summary We are seeking an experienced Survey Party Chief to lead field survey crews on a variety of municipal, commercial, and infrastructure projects. The successful candidate will be responsible for conducting accurate field surveys, supervising survey staff, operating survey equipment, and ensuring projects are completed safely, efficiently, and to the highest quality standards. Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise field survey crews.
• Perform boundary, topographic, construction, and as-built surveys.
• Operate and maintain GPS, total stations, data collectors, and other survey equipment.
• Ensure accuracy of field data and maintain detailed survey records.
• Coordinate daily field activities with project managers and office staff.
• Adhere to company safety policies and industry standards.
• Train and mentor junior survey staff.
• Communicate effectively with clients, contractors, and project stakeholders.

• Diploma or degree in Surveying, Geomatics, Civil Engineering Technology, or a related field.
• Minimum 5 years of field surveying experience, including experience leading survey crews.
• Proficiency with GPS, robotic total stations, and survey data collection software.
• Strong understanding of surveying principles, procedures, and construction layout.
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
• Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions and travel to project sites as required.
