We’re partnered with a nationally recognized multidisciplinary engineering firm looking to add a Structural Engineer to their growing Edison, NJ office. What You’ll Be Doing
- Perform structural analysis and design for building structures
- Design structural steel, reinforced concrete, masonry, and wood framing systems
- Assist with site investigations and existing condition assessments
- Prepare and review structural calculations, drawings, and specifications
- Coordinate with architects and multidisciplinary engineering teams
- Support construction administration through site visits, RFIs, submittals, and field observations
- Work on projects ranging from small renovations to large-scale building developments
- Collaborate with senior engineers to deliver projects on schedule and within budget
- Take on increasing technical and task-level leadership responsibilities as experience grows
What You’ll Bring
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil or Structural Engineering
- 4–8 years of structural engineering experience focused on building structures
- EIT certification required with active progression toward PE licensure
- Strong understanding of structural building codes and design standards
- Experience with structural analysis software such as ETABS, RAM, SAP2000, RISA, or STAAD
- AutoCAD experience required
- Revit experience is a plus
- Strong communication and coordination skills
- Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines within a team environment
