We’re partnering with a highly respected structural engineering firm that is expanding into the Arlington, Virginia market with a brand-new office. This is a unique opportunity to join early, work directly with senior leadership, and help shape both project delivery and office culture.

Direct structural projects through all phases - from concept and design to construction administration - with real ownership.

Guide project teams, review deliverables, and support the development of junior engineers.

What you’ll be doing:

  • Lead structural design and analysis for building projects
  • Oversee drawings, calculations, and specifications
  • Coordinate with architects and multidisciplinary design teams
  • Manage project schedules, scope, and deliverables
  • Perform and review seismic and lateral system design (braced frames, moment frames, shear walls)
  • Support construction administration, RFIs, and site coordination
  • Maintain strong client communication and relationships



What you’ll need:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Civil or Structural Engineering (Master’s preferred)
  • PE license required (SE preferred)
  • 7+ years of structural engineering experience
  • Experience managing projects and leading design efforts
  • Strong background in seismic and lateral system design
  • Proficiency in ETABS, RISA, RAM, Enercalc, and Revit
  • Strong communication, leadership, and organizational skills
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously



Compensation & Benefits

  • $135,000 - $175,000 base salary, depending on experience
