We're partnering with a well-established multidisciplinary consulting engineering firm looking to add an experienced Bridge Project Manager to its growing Bridge Department in Wall, NJ.

This is an excellent opportunity for a licensed Professional Engineer who enjoys leading transportation infrastructure projects from concept through construction while managing multidisciplinary teams and developing long-term client relationships. You'll work on a diverse portfolio of bridge rehabilitation and replacement projects throughout New Jersey while helping mentor the next generation of engineers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage bridge rehabilitation and bridge replacement projects from planning and preliminary engineering through final design and construction support.
  • Lead multidisciplinary project teams including bridge, roadway, traffic, geotechnical, hydraulic, and environmental engineers.
  • Serve as the primary client contact, building strong relationships and ensuring successful project delivery.
  • Oversee preparation of plans, specifications, estimates (PS&E), technical reports, and supporting documentation.
  • Coordinate structural engineering efforts while supporting or delegating detailed bridge design as appropriate.
  • Ensure designs comply with AASHTO, NJDOT, and other applicable agency standards.
  • Manage project schedules, budgets, resources, and quality control throughout project delivery.
  • Provide technical leadership, mentorship, and guidance to junior engineers and design staff.
  • Support business development activities including proposals, presentations, and client meetings.
  • Perform site visits, bridge inspections, and structural assessments when required.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering (Structural or Transportation preferred).
  • Professional Engineer (PE) license required (New Jersey PE preferred).
  • 8+ years of experience delivering bridge and transportation infrastructure projects.
  • Strong understanding of bridge rehabilitation and replacement design.
  • Experience working with NJDOT and AASHTO design standards.
  • Proficiency with bridge analysis/design software such as LEAP Bridge, LARSA, MIDAS, CSiBridge, STAAD, or similar.
  • Proven project management experience including budgets, schedules, and client management.
  • Strong communication, leadership, and organizational skills.
  • Experience preparing proposals and supporting business development is preferred.
