Construction Estimator

Location: Doral, FL

seeking a detail-oriented Construction Estimator to join our growing Preconstruction team. This role is responsible for preparing accurate cost estimates, quantity takeoffs, and competitive bids for commercial construction projects while working closely with project managers, subcontractors, and clients from concept through award.

Responsibilities:

• Prepare conceptual, budgetary, and detailed estimates for commercial construction projects.
• Perform quantity takeoffs and analyze drawings, specifications, and bid documents.
• Solicit and evaluate subcontractor and vendor proposals.
• Develop competitive bid packages and assist with value engineering efforts.
• Maintain relationships with subcontractors and suppliers throughout the South Florida market.
• Collaborate with the operations team to ensure smooth project turnover following award.

Qualifications:

• 3+ years of estimating or preconstruction experience with a commercial general contractor.
• Experience estimating warehouse, office, retail, tenant improvement, multifamily, or higher education projects.
• Proficiency with Bluebeam, On-Screen Takeoff, SmartBid, and Microsoft Office.
• Strong understanding of all CSI divisions, construction methods, and project costs.
• Excellent organizational, communication, and time management skills.
• Knowledge of the South Florida subcontractor market is highly preferred.
