Senior Civil Engineer
Location: Remote - New York State

About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Senior Civil Engineer to support the growth of an established engineering consulting organization throughout New York State. This opportunity is ideal for a technically strong civil/site engineer looking to expand into client relationship management, project leadership, and business development while continuing to leverage their engineering expertise.
Working remotely, you will collaborate with internal engineering teams and leadership to support land development projects, strengthen client relationships, and expand the organization’s regional presence.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and support civil/site design, grading, stormwater management, and land development projects.
- Prepare and review engineering plans and design documents using Civil 3D.
- Serve as a technical resource for clients, municipalities, and project stakeholders.
- Collaborate with internal engineering and environmental teams to deliver quality project solutions.
- Build and maintain client relationships and identify new project opportunities.
- Support regional growth, proposals, and business development initiatives.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering.
- 8+ years of experience in civil engineering, site design, or land development.
- P.E. license based in NY.
- Strong experience with grading, civil/site design, and Civil 3D.
- Knowledge of stormwater management, drainage, and applicable permitting requirements.
- Excellent communication and client relationship skills.
- Self-motivated and comfortable working independently in a remote environment.
- Interest in combining technical engineering work with client engagement and business development.
