Conrad Consulting are delighted to be partnering with an award-winning, design-driven Architectural Practice in Leeds (LS6), who are seeking an Architectural Technician / Technologist to join their growing team. This innovative, medium-sized practice has enjoyed over 25 years of sustained success and continues to secure a wide variety of exciting, design-led commissions across its established core sectors.
They are now looking to strengthen their technical team with a motivated Architectural Technician / Technologist who is eager to develop their career within a collaborative and supportive environment. The successful candidate will contribute to the delivery of a diverse range of projects, with a particular focus on residential developments including housing, student accommodation, retirement living, bespoke homes and complex conversion schemes.

The Role & Responsibilities
The successful Architectural Technician / Technologist will play an important role in the technical delivery of projects, working closely with Architects, consultants and wider project teams across multiple RIBA work stages.
Key responsibilities include:

Producing detailed technical drawings, specifications and construction information.

Assisting in the delivery of projects across a variety of sectors, with a strong focus on residential developments.

Preparing planning, Building Regulations and construction drawing packages.

Working collaboratively with Architects, consultants, contractors and clients.

Supporting project delivery through RIBA Stages 3-6.

Ensuring technical documentation is produced to a high standard and in accordance with project programmes.

Assisting with coordination of consultant information and project documentation.

Contributing to technical problem-solving and design development throughout project lifecycles.
About You
-
Architectural Technician, Architectural Technologist or CIAT member/aspiring CIAT member.

Approximately 3-4 years' experience working within a UK Architectural Practice.

Experience producing technical drawing packages and construction information.

Proficiency in Revit is highly desirable, with strong CAD skills also essential.

Good understanding of UK Building Regulations and construction detailing.

Residential project experience would be advantageous, although candidates from other sectors will also be considered.

Strong organisational and communication skills.

Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a collaborative team.

Enthusiastic, proactive and keen to continue developing professionally.
