I joined Conrad Consulting in March 2017, specialising in recruitment across the Surveying & Project Management market. Since then, I’ve built an extensive network across the UK Property & Construction Consultancy sector and developed long-standing relationships with many of the industry’s leading practices.
Over the years, I’ve recruited professionals at every level, from Graduates taking their first steps into the industry through to Directors and senior leadership appointments. My core areas of expertise include Quantity Surveying, Building Surveying and Project Management, giving me a strong understanding of both the people and businesses operating within these markets.
For me, recruitment has always been about more than simply filling a vacancy. I take the time to understand what a client genuinely needs and what motivates a candidate to make their next move. That approach has allowed me to become a trusted recruitment partner to a number of established consultancies and to build relationships that have lasted for many years.
One of the things I enjoy most about recruitment is staying close to the market. Speaking with clients and candidates every day gives me a genuine insight into what’s happening across the industry, from salaries and hiring trends to business growth, career progression and the challenges facing the sector.
I pride myself on being straightforward, approachable and honest in the way I work, and I believe the best results come from building relationships rather than chasing short-term placements.
Outside of work, you’ll usually find me playing or watching football, playing padel, travelling or still attempting to get that golf handicap down!
