I began my career in the construction industry in 2006 with a local building contractor, gaining experience across a variety of departments before moving into the Sales & Marketing team within their new-build housing division.
In 2011, looking to further develop my career, I engaged a recruitment consultancy to support my job search. A few weeks later, I found myself accepting an opportunity to join the business as a Recruitment Consultant. Initially specialising in the fit-out and refurbishment sector, placing both operational and commercial professionals, I spent the next decade building an extensive industry network and progressing into leadership roles. During this time, I managed teams and delivered recruitment solutions for businesses of all sizes across the Built Environment sector.
Over the past six years, I have held Director-level positions within both SME and PLC recruitment agencies, providing temporary and permanent recruitment solutions across the Built Environment, Civil Engineering, and Property sectors. I am delighted to have joined Conrad Consulting on a part-time basis, where I will support the continued growth and development of services for both clients and candidates within these markets.
My approach to recruitment is built on honesty, transparency, and long-term relationships. With almost 20 years of industry experience and a well-established network, I am passionate about helping clients secure the right talent and supporting candidates in achieving their career goals, while leading teams to deliver a reliable and trusted recruitment service.
Outside of work, I enjoy spending time with family and friends and am a competitive horse rider. Much of my free time is dedicated to training, coaching, and judging, which keeps me busy most weekends.
